South Asia Initiative: The South Asia Initiative at Harvard University facilitates scholarly exchanges among Harvard faculty and students, the best South Asia specialists from the US and other countries, and visiting academics and prominent public figures from South Asia. They sponsor lectures at Harvard by distinguished academic, governmental, and business leaders whose work contributes to a better understanding of the challenges facing the region. SAI also supports faculty from various Harvard Schools traveling to South Asia to work with academic and governmental leaders on key strategic, economic, environmental, and political issues. .

Amra Kojon: Amra Kojon ("A Few of Us" - www.amrakojon.org) is a group of Bengali music lovers and performers from both Bangladesh and West Bengal (India). Amra Kojon has organized and performed a number of shows in the United States.

Drishtipat: Drishtipat is a non-profit, non-political progressive expatriate Bangladeshi organization committed to safeguarding every individual's basic democratic rights, including freedom of expression, and is opposed to any and all kinds of human rights abuses in Bangladesh. They are based in the United States, and have members in every part of the globe via memberships and local chapters. This website is intended for disseminating information about the state of human rights and social change in Bangladesh, and to discuss potential campaigns. Drishtipat and its local chapters have undertaken numerous campaigns every year since its inception in 2001.

Harvard Law School Advocates for Human Rights: The HLS Advocates is an organization through which students of all levels of commitment can explore their interest in human rights advocacy under the guidance of experienced activists. HLS Advocates created a Human Rights Clinical, which is now entering its second year of operation. HLS Advocates and the Human Rights Clinical form a seamless unit offering Harvard students a spectrum of opportunities to develop their hands-on experience with human rights issues, regardless of their level of commitment or particular field of interest.

Human Rights Project of Fletcher School of Diplomacy: The Human Rights Project seeks to promote discussion, debate, and advocacy of human rights issues at The Fletcher School, in the Tufts University community, and within the greater Boston area. The Project emphasizes the importance of human rights in The Fletcher School's curriculum, with a focus on career preparation and opportunities upon graduation. Through linkages with local human rights organizations, HRP unites with area groups to develop a solid commitment to human rights in the community. As a forum for interaction with fellow students, professors, human rights professionals, and community members, HRP hopes to advance a human rights agenda both locally and globally.

South Asian Journalists Association (SAJA): The South Asian Journalists Association (SAJA) is a non-profit organization that provides a networking and resource forum for journalists of South Asian origin and journalists interested in South Asia or the South Asian Diaspora. SAJA's mission also includes acting as a resource to facilitate and promote accurate coverage of South Asia and South Asians in North America.

South Asian Law Students Association (SALSA): Sponsoring events ranging from mango lassi parties to political discussions, the South Asian Law Students Association (SALSA) was formed with the aim of promoting an understanding and appreciation of South Asian political, legal, and social issues.
